Auto Upholstery and Convertible Tops for Beverly and Mount Greenwood

Families in these neighborhoods often keep a car for many years and sometimes pass it down. When the interior wears out, a refresh makes more sense than replacing a car that runs well. Common jobs:

Planning tip: if you want a car ready for a specific event, contact us well ahead of time. Top installations take 8 to 12 hours of shop time, and full interiors take longer.

Trees, convertibles, and drains

The big parkway trees that make these neighborhoods beautiful also drop leaves, seeds, and sap on cars parked on the street. On convertibles, debris clogs the drains around the top well and water ends up inside the car, soaking carpet and sometimes reaching the electronics. Restaurants, pubs, salons, dental offices, and gyms along Western Avenue and 111th Street all have seating that wears out. We reupholster booths, bar stools, chairs, gym pads, and treatment tables. Getting here

From Mount Greenwood, it's a short drive southwest to Cicero Avenue. From Beverly and Morgan Park, take 111th Street or 115th Street west toward Cicero. Our shop is at 11937 S. Cicero Ave, Alsip, IL 60803, open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Alley garages and tight spaces

Many homes in Beverly, Mount Greenwood, and Morgan Park have detached garages off an alley, and plenty of them were built when cars were smaller. Convertible owners here tell us about tops scuffed against garage door frames, rear windows creased from being folded in a cold garage, and cars that sit outside part of the year because the garage holds a second vehicle. If your top lives outside, a breathable cover and regular cleaning go a long way. If it's already showing wear, bring it in before a small scuff turns into a tear. A quick look costs nothing, and an early repair is almost always cheaper than a full replacement.

Weekday drop-offs

We're open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Since we're just across the city line, many neighborhood customers drop the car off on the way to work and have a family member or neighbor give them a lift.
