Repair vs. replace

The expensive part of most commercial seating is underneath: the dental chair's hydraulics, the weight machine's frame, the booth's built-in structure. The upholstery is usually what wears out first. Replacing just the cover and foam can keep good equipment in service for years.

We'll look at each piece and tell you:

• whether a repair (patch, panel, or seam) is enough,
• whether it needs a full recover with new foam, or
• whether the frame or base is damaged and needs work first.

Materials for real-world use

Commercial pieces get cleaned more often and used harder than anything at home. We work in leather, Ultra-Suede, vinyl, and synthetics and stock over 1,000 cloth and vinyl material types. For pieces that get wiped down frequently, like medical tables, gym equipment, and restaurant booths, we'll steer you toward materials made for that kind of cleaning. Tell us what cleaners you use and we'll factor that in.

Custom manufacturing

Beyond repairs, we do custom manufacturing in leather, Ultra-Suede, vinyl, and synthetics: cushions, pads, covers, and protective pieces built to your dimensions. If you need something that doesn't exist off the shelf, ask.

What to send for a fast estimate

• A wide photo of each type of piece (booth, bench, table, chair)
• A close-up of the worst damage on each type
• A count of how many pieces need work
• Your preferred color or material, or a photo of the existing material if you'd like to match it
• Your timeline, including whether pieces can be out of service and for how long

Signs it's time to act

Small problems in commercial upholstery grow quickly with daily use. A small split in a booth seat widens every time someone slides in. A crack in an exam table's vinyl lets fluids reach the foam, and that can't be properly cleaned. Exposed foam on a gym bench breaks down fast. Catching damage early often means a panel repair instead of a full recover, and that's less expensive.
